My website Everchangingmews is so named for good reason.

There is a development trend in the Mews that alters or replaces the original buildings with ones that are no longer recognisable as authentic Mews properties.

It was by observation of this trend that I started the website and continue it today.

When Everchangingmews carried out a Mews Census in 2003 we recorded 451 Original/ Surviving Mews, whereas in 2015 we did additional research and as a result of this some Mews were re-classified and we recorded  the reduced number of 391 Original/ Surviving Mews.
